INGREDIENTS
We make so many desserts with Oreos that we typically have them on hand. The other ingredients for this recipe are also pantry staples and include:
- oil
- pancake mix
- milk
- powdered sugar
With these ingredients, making the actual Fried Oreos takes just a few steps.
These fried Oreos are made most easily in a deep fryer but can also be made in a deeper pot or pan. You’ll just need a few inches of oil to fry these bad boys. Once that is all set up, you’ll just need to follow these directions:
- Whisk oil, milk together in a medium bowl. Stir in pancake mix and mix until there are no more clumps.
- Dip Oreos in batter with a fork and then place in hot oil. Fry until golden brown (it took about 2 minutes).
- Place Oreos on paper towel lined plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and ENJOY!
We don’t make these often but when we do, they are definitely a hit!
Believe it or not, I think I liked the Golden Oreos version the best, but since we’ve made these we’ve tried several Oreo varieties and they are all amazing!! I hope you agree these are dangerously easy and amazing!! I usually have all the ingredients on hand and my fryer close by, which means we’ve made these too many times. They are always a hit with guests and are usually well received since you usually only find these at the local carnival. 😉
